What Customers
Have to Say

"I think this is tremendous. Not only does it take away the bad smell but more
importantly it sanitizes the equipment. I have seen some bad rashes when I played. This helps eliminate this concern which is very important to players."

Mark Habschied
Former NHL Player
WHL Coach

"I am intimately aware of the need to regularly clean sports equipment to maintain proper performance and ensure the sanitary needs of the players. Cleaning and sanitizing sports equipment has been an unmet need in the past and is now uniquely being offered with the Esporta cleaning technology."

Dennis Ryan
Head Equipment Manager
Minnesota Vikings

CLEANING PROCESS
Designed for the Tough Stuff

CleanSports uses a four step cleaning process specifically designed for the filthiest of sports gear. This wet wash cleaning process uses low temperature, low agitation cycles to thoroughly clean, sanitize and deoderize sports gear without the damaging effects found in standard washing methods.

Stage: 1 TAK1 Detergent:
Contains enzymes produced by non-pathogenic bacteria. When the enzymes come in contact with protein oils such as sweat, blood, proteins and fungi they secrete an enzyme that breaks down the soil source allowing it to be digested and easily removed from the fabric being cleaned. At the same time it overpowers the food source of pathogenic bacteria such as staphylococcus, weakening them for an easy kill by stage 3. This process also helps eliminate odors.

Stage: 2
Penetrator Detergent:
Contains a synergistic blend of detergents, detergent builders, water-soluble solvent and optical enhancing brighteners. The two distinct detergents, which are also known as surfactants, reduce surface tension and allow stage 1 and the balance of stage 2 to penetrate and do their job of breaking down matter. The detergent builders and buffered alkalinity are designed to keep the pH at 9.5, where stage q will perform best. The builders also soften water and suspend soil after they are released. The water-soluble solvents emulsify oil-based (sweat) soils. The optical brighteners attach themselves to the fabric and when dry, escalate the reflection of light. This makes the fabric appear brighter and cleaner.

Stage: 3

Force Additive:
Contains peroxyacetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, which serve two functions. Being on the acidic side of the pH scale, it neutralizes alkalinity left from stage 2 and leaves the end pH on the fabric at the optimal pH level for the skin to be sensitized. During this stage the chemicals also penetrate all bacteria, viruses and mold spores, killing them chemically. Once this takes place, any odor that is still evident after stage 1 and stage 2 is totally eliminated. Stage 3’s peroxyacetic acid and hydrogen peroxide combination have been proven in lab tests to kill germs such as staphylococcus aureus and molds at a 99.99% efficiency.

Stage: 4

Signature Additive:

Implants a fresh odor to garments or equipment. This special formulation is made up of a combination of 140 different natural essential oils.

Our exclusive enzyme-based soaps have low foaming surfactants and anti-soil redeposition agents that help prevent soils from returning to the equipment. Our enzyme fighting stain remover helps eliminate blood, proteins, grass and other organic contaminants from the items being cleaned.

Our low alkaline formula is safe for use on leather and fabric dyes and helps preserve the integrity of tough articles to clean such as; gloves, horse blankets and skates.
